Courtney Love throws a hissy fit
Love snatches the mic from pretty-but-weak Usher
Don't keep Courtney Love waiting. The rock diva pitched a magnificent hissy fit during a run-through for Monday's Billboard Music Awards in Vegas.

Love managed to behave herself as Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks and others sang and re-sang their numbers before the show. But, after cooling her heels for three hours, she finally lost it, sources said.

Marching onto the stage, the Love Object grabbed a microphone from R&B star Usher and brayed at the show's producers: "You guys better get us on the f----- stage now or I'm not on the show! All these country acts up here doing their song three or four times!"

Love and her band, Hole, got their chance to play their hit "Malibu." She then wanted a second take. Told the awards' audience was about to be seated, she insisted: "I want to f----- do it again. . . . Let the people in!"

Love's publicist confirmed the singer showed some temper but said it was only because she wanted to put on a good show. Her Hole-iness couldn't have been too upset with country crooner Brooks. The odd couple hung out later backstage, where she pronounced his guitar-smashing routine "cool."
