Gov. Ventura Slams Clinton Admin
Ex-Wrestler Jesse Ventura Spits Words at Bill and Hill
For all you old school WWF fans, back when they weren't as hot as they are now, you should already
know that the man once known as Jesse "The Body" Ventura can now be called Minnesota Gov.-elect Jesse Ventura. Or as he likes to be called now, Jesse "The Mind" Ventura.

Ventura, on NBC's "Meet the Press" took pot shots at the President's affair with Monica Lewinsky.

"I think that it's one thing if you want to dally outside your marriage if you go to a motel room, but I have a big problem when it's being done right in the White House," Ventura was reported saying.

"That's not his house. He is just occupying it. We are the owners, he is the renter, and I think he needs to abide by those rules and show more dignity."

Moderator Tim Russert really got Ventura venting by mentioning that the First Lady had called the wrangler's campaign a "sideshow."

"I think that she maybe ought to not leave the White House as often as she used to," he said. "Bad things seem to happen when she leaves, so she'd be better off staying back at the White House and taking care of business there, rather than worrying about politics in Minnesota."

President Clinton nor Hillary had any comment.

These weren't the only words the tough talking politician had. Ventura, who stunned the country by winning Tuesday's election as the Reform Party candidate, also refused to endorse party leader Ross Perot for President in 2000 and gave former ring rival Hulk Hogan a pop in the chops.

"Mr. Perot has tried twice," he said. "He did an outstanding job, but I think maybe my personal opinion would be that we should look to a new candidate in the future." Ventura, however, said he is not mulling a run for President — contrary to what his "old buddy" Hogan might have said.

"First of all, he's not my old buddy," the scowling ex-wrestler said. "And, second of all, no, I don't think so, because I've made a commitment to the State of Minnesota."
